SAP Partnership & Investment
To bring greater value to customers, and recognizing the increasing demand for out-of-the-box business network enablement, SAP— the world’s leading provider of enterprise business solutions — announced an ownership stake in Crossgate at Tech Ed Berlin on October 2008. SAP’s investment in Crossgate facilitates seamless integration of business partners, taking B2B and EDI collaboration to an entirely new level that will reduce costs and improve revenue growth for SAP users. In addition to the investment, SAP and Crossgate are expanding their joint service-oriented architecture (SOA) development.
- Jim Hagemann Snabe, Member of the Executive Board, SAP AG
“SAP’s investment complements our existing business process outsourcing agreement and funds continued innovation in business network-based services for SAP users in all market segments. We are providing companies with solutions that are key enablers for business network transformation, allowing them to increase their flexibility to capitalize on market changes and opportunities. Through our partners, we are accelerating innovation and improving return on investment for our customers.”
- Gerhard Oswald, Member of the Executive Board, SAP AG
“For us, the bottom line is to help our customers make the most out of SAP solutions. We are happy to have Crossgate on board with its BPO services powered by SAP. Our customers are connected with one click to a large network of trading partners using the solution based on SAP NetWeaver PI – without any additional expenditure. This is true added value.”
- Geoffrey Moore, Managing Director of TCG Advisors Consultancy and author of "Crossing The Chasm“
“Business networks are becoming characteristic of competition in industry. An important success factor in this race is to have the right infrastructure. The combination of SAP company software expertise coupled with Crossgate’s integration network helps to improve business networks, independent from partner processes, location or technical equipment.”
